Pan Sonic Festivities

A festive Christmas Pan Sonic meal plus a rehearsal, food, booze and a sneaky AGM. Lots of Applications for festivals. Lots of ideas for gigs. Lots of fabulous plans for 2020. Watch this space.

Workshop Time

We all had a lovely time teaching the community at Ambition Lawrence Weston a steel band tune.

None of the participants had played a steel pan before and they were so so good and enthusiastic.

First Rehearsal With New Pans

Here we are at the first rehearsal using our own pans. A bit of a squash, but worth it as they sound absolutely amazing.

New Pans

Thanks to Bristol City Council’s Originators Funding we now have our own full set of steel pans.

These new pans allow us to be an independent community steel band for the whole city of Bristol.

Exciting times ahead.
